About Us

About Dr. Gold

Dr. Allan Gold is a full-time School Psychologist in the District.  He has been working in RUSD for over 43 years! He came to RUSD in 1976, while earning his Doctorate from UC Berkeley, and he’s been here ever since!  Dr. Gold provides psychological services at Bel Aire and Del Mar, as well as District services such as state achievement testing coordinator.  Depending on meetings, he can move around a lot, but you can usually find him at Bel Aire on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays,  and at Del Mar on Mondays and Fridays.  He can be contacted by voicemail at (415) 388-7100 ext. 2005 or by email at agold@reedschools.org

About Dr. Van Putten

Dr. Maya Van Putten is a part time School Psychologist in the Reed Union School district.  She received her Ph.D from UC Berkeley in 2010, and has many prior years of experience working with children with learning and behavioral difficulties.  Dr. Van Putten is works at Reed School Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  She can best be contacted by email at mvanputten@reedschools.org or by voicemail at 435-7840, ext. 1012.

About Dr. David Kover

Dr. David Kover earned his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2009.  He actually worked in RUSD part-time while he was writing his dissertation, left for four years to work in San Francisco Unified School District, and he's completing his sixth year back at RUSD!
